LIONS WIN RACE FOR JACKSON
STRIKER Simeon Jackson is set to be confirmed as a Millwall player on Monday after the Lions beat South East London rivals Charlton to his signature.
The former Norwich frontman, 26, has agreed personal terms with the Lions and all boss Ian Holloway is now waiting on is international clearance for the deal to be completed.
Jackson left Norwich in the summer to sign for Bundesliga side Eintracht Braunschweig but was released yesterday and Holloway was quick to make his move.
He will become Holloway’s fifth signing since taking over from Steve Lomas and follows Ryan Fredericks, DJ Campbell, Shaun Williams and deadline day addition Ed Upson to the New Den.
