BEN BEGS FOR POSH CHANCE
BEN Nugent has urged new manager Darren Ferguson to throw him into the deep end after the central defender penned a three-month loan at Peterborough.
Nugent, who played just five times for Brentford in a loan spell earlier this season, signed from Cardiff – and he is desperate for first-team football.
“I jumped at the chance of coming,” said the 20-yearold.
“I didn't play as much as I would have liked (at Brentford) down to a few things, but I have moved on and hopefully I can prove a point and do well here.”
