JOMBATI WANTS TO STAY PUT
SIDO JOMBATI has promised to repay Cheltenham’s faith and sign a new deal – if the Robins ofer him one.
The 26-year-old’s contract is set to expire this summer but, after spending the last two and a half years at Whaddon Road since moving from Bath City, Jombati is keen to start negotiating.
“Nobody has spoken to me about a new contract, but I am ready to sign for another year because I am happy here,” Jombati said.
“I came from the Conference to League Two and I want to stay here. I signed my last contract very quickly because Cheltenham Town have given me an opportunity to be a professional.”
