FLECK’S BID FOR PAL BOYD
COVENTRY midfielder John Fleck has urged manager Steven Pressley to do all he can to sign Kris Boyd this summer.
Pressley is keeping tabs on in-form Kilmarnock striker Boyd with a view to a move and Fleck would love to link-up again with his old Rangers teammate.
“Kris had a couple of years away, including a spell in Turkey, but he’s back with Killie and firing on all cylinders again,” said Fleck.
“He’d be a great addition for us. I looked up to him when I was younger.
“He just does one thing, and that’s scores goals.
“He’s great at what he does and I think that he’d be a great signing for this club.
“He’ll stand in the box all day and nine times out of ten he’ll score.”
