OWLS TO SEE BEST OF LEON
BLACKBURN striker Leon Best has vowed to prove a point after leaving the deep freeze at Ewood Park to join Sheffield Wednesday on-loan.
Best, who is on-loan at Wednesday for a third time, has not figured for Blackburn since they lost 1-0 to Charlton back
on October 19 last year after a fallout with boss Gary Bowyer.
He said:“I want to be playing. I love football and I’ve had a hard time not playing at Blackburn.
“There is always a point to prove whether it is to someone else or yourself.
“There were a few clubs interested in me but I am familiar with Wednesday having been here before. I can only think of good memories here so I was delighted to come back.
“It helps having the good memories.”
