Federico’s on song alright

BIRMINGHAM City’s on-loan striker Federico Macheda, left, had no worries about singing to his new team-mates for his initiation ceremony – he positively revelled in it.

The Manchester United marksman had to sing on his first away trip for the game at Charlton when he scored both goals in a 2-0 win at The Valley.

While some players may cringe at the thought, Macheda didn’t as he thinks is a whizz with a microphone in his hand.

Macheda chose to sing Impossible by the X Factor winner James Arthur and said: “I was ready because I can sing.

“When I used to live in Manchester I had a Karaoke room and I used to sing, not every day, but three of four times a week.

“So I was ready for it and I thought I was very impressive.”
