The Football League Paper - - LEAGUE TWO RESULTS -

CREWE must start collecting points away from Gresty Road if they want to steer clear of a relegation battle, says assistant manager Neil Baker.

Despite some very encouraging performances, they have picked up just two away wins all season – with 10 defeats – and Baker expects more three-point hauls than that. Alex went into this weekend in the last relegation spot thanks to a goal difference worse by 21 than Crawley, who have played six games fewer.

“We are not going to win all our home games between now and the end of the season,” said Baker. “It will be important to pick up points away from home, especially against those sides that are in-and-around us at the bottom of the league.

“We have been encouraged by recent performances and some of the results but it is important that we continue to build on that.”
