The Football League Paper - - LEAGUE TWO RESULTS -

WOLVES may need to reach the magic 100 points mark if they are going to bounce straight back into the Championship, according to their manager Kenny Jackett.

Following last year’s relegation season Jackett’s side are one of the front-runners for automatic promotion this time around.

But he says he expects their rivals Brentford and Leyton Orient to keep winning and pushing them all the way. They went into this weekend in third but with only two points covering the top three teams.

“We can’t take our foot off the accelerator,” said Jacket. “I haven’t got a target in mind.

“But through the season it has been apparent that to finish in the top two we’re going to need to be in the high-90s at least.

“It shows you that there is a very good standard at the top of the league and that pace isn’t going to stop right to the end.”
