FREEMAN STAYS ON AT BLADES
SHEFFIELD UNITED boss Nigel Clough says Kieron Freeman’s versatility could prove crucial after the FA Cup semi-finalists secured his signature until the end of the season.
The 22-year-old Freeman, who has also impressed onloan at Notts County this season, extended his loan deal from Derby, a move which Clough was keen to wrap up.
“He gives us versatility, which was always the plan with Kieron, it has been very helpful having him to play at left-back in recent weeks,” said Clough.
“I’m delighted that all has been agreed and the paperwork tidied up to enable him to stay with us.”
