BROWN WILL KEEP LOANEES
MANAGER Phil Brown is keen to ensure that his pair of Norwich loanees remain at Southend, despite the change of management at the Premier League club.
Jamar Loza and Jacob Murphy moved to Roots Hall under former Canaries boss Chris Hughton, and Brown says that there is no danger in them being recalled despite Neil Adams taking the reins.
“I’ve spoken to the chief scout at Norwich and they’re delighted with the progress and the opportunities they are getting with us so I don’t see anything changing,” said Brown.
“They both have pace and quality in the final third and that’s exactly why we brought them in.”
