RANGERS SET FOR DOYLE RE­TURN

QPR have re­ceived a boost as they gear up for the play-offs with the news striker Kevin Doyle has won his bat­tle to play again this sea­son.

Doyle, who is on-loan from Wolves, has been side­lined by a knee in­jury since the 2-0 win at Birm­ing­ham City on March 8.

He broke down in train­ing when at­tempt­ing to make his re­turn and there had been fears his sea­son was over.

He has been hav­ing treat­ment back at Wolves and will re­turn to Rangers next week af­ter get­ting a clean bill of health.

Wolves’ man­ager Kenny Jack­ett said: “Kevin is good and plan­ning on go­ing back to QPR next week.

“I am sure that he will be very pleased that he is fit and avail­able and at some stage soon he will be back play­ing.

“He will be avail­able to play for them in the play-offs as well.”
