The Football League Paper - - LEAGUE TWO RESULTS -

I WATCHED an excellent Sheffield United victory at Crawley recently. The intensity, organisation and energy in their performance was truly impressive. Their back four was solid, well marshalled and totally professional. The skipper Michael Doyle ran the middle of the park, with young Conor Coady in exceptional form and Jamie Murphy looking a constant menace down the left. They kept young Stefan Scougall and Jose Baxter on the bench, preferring Chris Porter up top, although Baxter was excellent when I saw them beat Carlisle. The FA Cup semifinalists have got enough to reach the final. Of that there is no doubt. Anybody who thinks that their wins over Premier League opponents in earlier rounds were a fluke can think again. Sheffield United have strong players who can definitely cause an upset.

I cannot see Steve Bruce underestimating them, but neither do I think Sheffield United will underestimate themselves. They will believe they can go all the way and I can see just why they think that.
