LIAM No­ble is among a host of play­ers out of con­tract at rel­e­ga­tion-threat­ened Carlisle in the sum­mer but the mid­fielder in­sists there’s been no talk of de­sert­ing the sink­ing ship.

Carlisle looked to be get­ting a vi­tal three points on Good Fri­day as they led for most of the clash with Wal­sall af­ter No­ble’s strike hit a post and found the net off the back of goal­keeper Richard O’Don­nell.

No­ble hit the bar af­ter the break too but with eight min- utes left Michael Ngoo headed home a cor­ner for his first Wal­sall goal to break Carlisle hearts. The Cum­bri­ans have now won just once in 11 games and still find them­selves two points off safety, but mid­fielder No­ble in­sists the dress­ing room is united and ready to fight to­gether against Peter­bor­ough to­mor­row.
