BEING INJURED

The Football League Paper - - CHAMPIONSHIP RESULTS -

It’s the worst part of being a professional footballer. Being out on the sidelines and not being able to take part, week in, week out, you really miss it and it can get you down.

I’ve got a broken foot at the minute, I’ve only been out for a few weeks but I’ve got another four months to go.

It’s hard because you just want to be out there, doing what you love. You have to try and get your head down and focus on the rehab, which is what I’m doing now but it’s hard. The FLP says: We feel your pain Ollie, longterm spells on the sidelines are enough to drive a man insane – broken bones go straight into Room 101.
