BUTLAND’S LOVED IT AT LEEDS
JACK BUTLAND has no regrets about moving to Leeds on loan this season – despite the off-field chaos.
The England international arrived at Leeds in February from parent club Stoke in the hope of forcing his way into Roy Hodgson’s World Cup plans.
But disappointing results on the field, and the financial troubles off the pitch, have put paid to that.
“The spell has had a few ups and downs but what hasn’t changed is the experience I’m getting of playing for a big club,” said Butland.
“Yes it’s been tough and we’ve not picked up enough points, but it’s taught me a lot for the rest of my career.”
