SHWAN ALL SET FOR NEW START
FORMER Bournemouth goalkeeper Shwan Jalal insists he has plenty to offer to any potential suitor despite playing just twice this season – for Leyton Orient.
Jalal, who spent a short spell on loan with Orient this season, kept 48 clean sheets in 147 league starts for Bournemouth but has been released by the Cherries after last playing for the club in March 2013.
“I feel I am a goalkeeper who can produce for any team I play for. I was disappointed not to be involved in the Championship campaign but never missed a day’s training,” he said.
“I made it clear to the manager that I would be ready if called upon and, in the meantime, I was always very supportive.”
