KEITH Hill has no qualms about throwing Jack Muldoon in to action next season – in fact the Rochdale boss believes he will be a household name.

The 24-year-old striker, who scored 21 goals last season for Northern Premier side Worksop Town, has agreed a one-year contract.

“I’m not afraid to take him into League One at all. He’ll be a pleasant surprise,” said Hill.

“Jack’s not a household name at the moment, but he will be, don’t worry about that.

“He’s a goal scorer, he’s a provider, he’s got plenty of pace and power, he can play in a number of positions.”
