DAVID: NO FLIT-TING IN AND OUT

The Football League Paper - - INSIDE -

BURY boss David Flitcroft says he is unwilling to risk upsetting his squad by bringing in a flock of loan signings.

The Shakers are flying high in League Two after a strong start to the season.

But a knee injury suffered by defender Keil O’Brien, to go with fitness concerns over strikers Danny Nardiello and Clive Platt, have threatened to derail the Gigg Lane outfit’s progress.

But Flitcroft, the former Barnsley manager, said:“We worked hard over the summer to build up a wellbalanced squad that will allow us to play a number of different systems, so there is no need to rush in.We are in a good place.”
