PHIL PARKINSON says striker Aaron McLean’s reputation doesn’t guarantee him a starting spot at Bradford – but hard work will.

McLean, signed from Hull as Nahki Wells’ replacement, has struggled to nail down a permanent spot in the starting line-up this term “Aaron’s got to fight for his place now,” said Parkinson. “We’ve got to keep topping him up with bits of fitness work. It’s now up to him that every time he’s on the pitch he plays to stay in the team.”
