THE BOY GEORG FINE FOR COOK
CHESTERFIELD boss Paul Cook believes new signing Georg Margreitter is finally ready to earn his crust in England with the Spireites.
The 25-year-old spent last term on loan in Denmark with FC Copenhagen and has played just three games for Wolves since joining from Austria Vienna in 2012.
“I’m delighted to have been able to sign Georg because we needed someone else in after losing Liam Cooper and Sam Hird,” said Cook, who has sealed a three-month loan deal for the defender.
“Georg’s career in English football has never really got going, but he had successful spells in Austria and Denmark and we believe he’ll be a useful addition to the squad.”
