Septem­ber 15, 1975: Chris Balder­stone plays-cricket for Le­ices­ter­shire v Derby in the af­ter­noon, foot­ball for Don­caster v Brent­ford in the evening then darts for the club against the sup­port­ers club. Septem­ber 15, 1989: Coven­try City goal­keeper Steve Or­gri­zovic misses his first game after 344 con­sec­u­tive matches in seven years Septem­ber 16, 1972: While cov­er­ing the Liver­pool v Arse­nal game for BBC, Jimmy Hill, a qual­i­fied ref­eree is called upon to re­place an in­jured lines­man. Septem­ber 17, 1974: Nine dif­fer­ent play­ers score for Liver­pool v Stroms­god­set in the Euro­pean Cup-Win­ner’s Cup.The only play­ers not on the score sheet are goal­keeper Ray Cle­mence and mid­fielder Wil­lie Hall.
