The Football League Paper - - LEAGUE TWO - By Samuel Jack

BRISTOL CITY youngster Joe Bryan says his side have that little bit of know-how that they previously lacked after their flying start to the season.

The Robins came into this weekend’s clash with Fleetwood on the back of an eight-game unbeaten start to the season. Bryan was part of the squad that was relegated from the Championship two years ago but they look well primed for a return.

Steve Cotterill took over last term and made seven new signings in the summer. The Robins currently top League One after finally learning how to grind out points.

“We are learning different ways to win games and become a bit more streetwise,” he said.“It means we are able to win when we are maybe not playing so well and that is a mark of how far we have come.

“We played well in a lot of games at the start of last season without getting the results we should have done. We are now winning games that we would almost certainly have lost last season.

“I think it stems from belief and a good team spirit.”
