Just so scary, the way Doyle has hit goal form
CHESTERFIELD striker Eoin Doyle has been dubbed “frightening” after becoming the first player to score hat-tricks in successive league games for the club.
Doyle, who joined after leaving Hibs in the summer of 2012, grabbed a treble in last weekend’s 41 win against Scunthorpe and helped himself to another hat-trick in Tuesday’s 3-3 draw at Preston. He made it seven goals in as many days with a solitary strike at Doncaster yesterday.
Manager Paul Cook said: “The performance of Eoin this season has been absolutely frightening.
“His goal scoring ratio now is getting ridiculously good, and apart from Eoin’s goals we have had some great performances.”
