PARKY IN PLEA TO SUB JAMES
BRADFORD boss Phil Parkinson has urged striker James Hanson to show how much a place in the Bantams starting line-up means to him.
Billy Clarke and Jon Stead’s impressive performances have limited Hanson to a substitute role in recent weeks and Parkinson is intrigued to see how the 27year-old reacts.
“The front two have got the shirts at the moment and are doing everything they can to keep them,” said Parkinson.“James has got to really fight for his place.
“Whether that’s training well or when he comes on for 15 or 20 minutes, he’s got to show everybody that he’s the Bradford number nine and wants his place back.”
