BUZZING BEES TO GET PRIT TO STICK
BRENTFORD manager Mark Warburton insists on-loan star Alex Pritchard is set to stay at Griffin Park – despite his growing reputation.
Pritchard, 21, is making a name for himself in the Championship with eyecatching displays in attacking midfield earning him a recent call-up to England U21s.
Tottenham can recall him in January, with Premier League clubs, including Swansea, reportedly eyeing up a loan move for the youngster. Championship outfit Wolves are also keeping tabs on him.
But with Brentford making an unexpected run at the Championship play-offs, Warburton is adamant there is no better environment for Pritchard to flourish.
“Alex is an asset and is only increasing in value,” he said. “He is enjoying playing regular football and our game suits him, so all parties are benefiting.
“He has a good relationship with the club and we are constantly talking to him and his agent.
“Alex is a talented player and is a pleasure to work with. He is doing a good job for us, so why rock that?”
