I’m free! Inman is fan
MIDFIELDER Brad Inman climbed off his sick bed and into the terraces to join the travelling Crewe fans at Vale Park last weekend.
Inman, who has spent time in hospital after being laid low by an illness that swept through the squad at Gresty Road, took his place among the 1,300strong contingent that cheered Nicky Ajose’s first-half winner in the derby at Port Vale.
And the 23-year-old says he has newfound sympathy for the range of emo- tions supporters are put through.
“I can see why it’s stressful being a fan, having sat with them and got their point of view,” said the Australian-born star.
“I had a lot of chats with the fans and I was with some of the other lads too, so it was a good day out.”
