WES BIDS TO SETTLE SCORES...
CHELTENHAM new boy Wes Burns says he owes the Robins some goals – after netting twice against them with two different clubs already this season!
The 20-year-old Bristol City frontman was one of four deadline day striker recruits made by Paul Buckle, Burns clearly catching his new manager’s attention by scoring against the Robins for his parent side and Oxford United this term.
“I probably owe the team a couple of goals, hopefully Cheltenham are something of a lucky omen for me,” Burns said. “I have got some pace and my job will be to stretch teams, get in behind and either score or create goals. We have some big lads in as well so we’ve got options.”
