COOK BIDS TO SERVE UP TREATS
PAUL Cook hopes to repay Chesterfield’s faith in him after agreeing a one-year contract extension.
The former Accrington Stanley boss, 47, guided the Spireites to the League Two title last term.
“Any manager will be clamouring for time, but in football today we don’t get that,” said Cook, whose new deal runs to 2017.
“The club is very important to us all. Loyalty in football now is a very hard thing to come across and as a manager or a player I think you need to show that.”
