The Football League Paper - - CHAMPIONSHIP - By Joshua Richards

NEW loan signing Barry Bannan says it won’t take long before Bolton are singing from the same hymn-sheet after a flurry of arrivals at the Macron Stadium.

The Trotters welcomed four players on deadline day as Bannan, Simeon Slavchev and Saidy Janko all joined on loan, while Czech midfielder Filip Twardzik is a permanent signing from Celtic.

And boss Neil Lennon’s tweaking is paying off already as Manchester United loanee Janko grabbed a debut goal in a victory over Fulham on Tuesday.

Midfielder Bannan, 25, himself has arrived from Crystal Palace – with Lee Chung-Yong heading the other way – and he hints he would be open to making the deal a permanent one.

“There are a lot of new lads all in at once, and one or two who don’t really speak English but you tend to find football has its own language. I don’t think it’ll matter too much, we’ll get to know how the manager wants us to play,” he said.

“At the moment I’m just concentrating on playing as many games as I can while I’m at Bolton. You never know what might happen at the end of it.”
