LEE BRADBURY FACTFILE
Born: Isle of Wight, 1975 (Age 39) 1995-1997 A striker, Bradbury found it hard to get spotted and instead joined the Army. He was a prolific scorer for the Army team before a trial at Portsmouth led to a professional contract. 1997-1998 Bradbury, who represented England U21s, impressed Frank Clark and the Manchester City boss forked out £3m for his services. But the club struggled and after relegation he moved to Crystal Palace for £1.5m 1998-2004 Having moved back to Pompey, his career was halted when he needed a knee reconstruction. After loan moves he was back for Portsmouth’s promotion run-in. 2004-2007 Had spells at Wals all, Oxford United and Southend United, before he joined Bournemouth. 2007-2011 Often utlised as a right-back, he won League Two promotion before moving into the Cherries’ dug-out. 2011-present Narrowly missed out on promotion in the League One playoffs. Became Havant & Waterlooville boss in 2012.
