ROVERS WANT KING TO REIGN FOR A LONG TIME
JOSH King’s FA Cup heroics will see him sign a new deal at Blackburn very soon, according to manager Gary Bowyer.
The former Manchester United youngster netted a hat-trick in the 4-1 romp against Premier League Stoke City to help his side march into the last eight – and a quarter-final at Liverpool.
Bowyer sees no reason why the 23year-old Norwegian international would want to move away from Ewood Park to pastures new.
“He’s been here a long time and he’s now starting to play in his preferred position, so while he’s happy he’ll want to be around,” said Bowyer of the striker.
