IT WON’T BE EASY, BRADFORD

The Football League Paper - - CHRIS DUNLAVY -

BRADFORD are the undisputed kings of Cup shocks. But when Reading come to town on quarter-final day, they may have to avoid one themselves.

Yes, the Bantams are in League One. Yes, the Royals have former Premier League players. But with their reputation on that horrible pitch, I bet Phil Parkinson’s men are the bookies’ favourite to end up at Wembley.

Of all the sides they could have drawn, Reading at home was the most winnable. Their supporters know that and will arrive at Valley Parade not in hope but expectation. The longawaited arrival of BT’s cameras will add to the feeling that a giant-killing is required.

But Reading will be their toughest test by far.
