MARCUS Haber is desperate to make sure he’s never left out in the cold again at Crewe after netting his first goal since October last week.

The 26-year-old striker impressed with his goalscoring performance against Fleetwood after failing to see a single minute on the pitch in January.

“I’m just happy to be back playing,” said the Canadian. “When you are out of the team you have to remain patient, work hard in training and wait for that opportunity. I think I’ve done that and I feel fit and ready.

“As long as the team is winning games and picking up points, it doesn’t matter who is scoring the goals.”
