CANARIES’ STRIKERS MUST GRAB CHANCE
NORWICH boss Alex Neil insists the loss of striker Lewis Grabban will not affect the Canaries’ push for promotion.
The 27-year-old, who has five goals from his last five Championship games, underwent surgery on his ankle on Thursday.
Grabban has scored 12 goals in total this term and netted his ultimate in last Sunday’s 2-0 derby win against Ipswich.
“It’s a huge blow, but we’ve got a big squad and we’re now looking for the other guys to step up to the plate,” said Neil, who is unsure whether Grabban will return this term.“We got his ankle scanned and it showed up that he needed to have it looked at.”
