Flipping ’eck, Kazenga to continue

The Football League Paper - - FINAL THIRD -

BRIGHTON manager Chris Hughton is hardly going to be head over heels about it, but Kazenga LuaLua says he has no intention of stopping his backflip goal celebration.

The DR Congo international has been out of action for ten weeks but scored for the first time in more than three months in Tuesday’s 2-0 win over Derby.

Older brother Lomana, formerly with Newcastle and now playing in Turkey, is also noted for his aerial acrobatics. And 24- year-old winger LuaLua claims he will ignore any advice to tone down his celebrations.

“It is something in the family blood – it is always going to happen,” LuaLua said.“I know the staff don’t like it when I do a backflip but I don’t think anyone can stop me – it is how I celebrate.”

LuaLua previously worked with Seagulls boss Hughton at Newcastle United.“The gaffer has been superb with me since he got the job,” he added.
