Murray’s Stags bidding to clean up in League Two

The Football League Paper - - FINAL THIRD -

MOST hand sanitizers promise to eliminate 99 per cent of bacteria – but Mansfield boss Adam Murray is focusing on getting rid of that final one per cent!

With the Stags just seven points clear of the League Two drop zone before yesterday’s action, the Football League’s youngest manager is looking at the little things his side can do to improve. And, bizarrely, this includes learning how to clean themselves properly.

The 33-year-old said: “Teaching the lads to wash their hands properly could cut two per cent of illness, which might win us three points. “We need to take everything up a notch. I am somebody who looks for the ‘one per cents’.”
