Ingram celebrates his ton
A CENTURY of games is a big achievement for any player – but Wycombe goalkeeper Matt Ingram has made it to three figures having never been dropped!
Ingram, 21, made his Wanderers debut in March 2013 as a 19year-old and has not missed a match since, notching up his 100th appearance against Southend last weekend.
Wycombe are currently flying high in the League Two automatic promotion spots having only secured survival on the final day of last season.
And Ingram was keen to praise manager Gareth Ainsworth for turning the Chair- boys’ fortunes around.
The shot-stopper said: “Firstly I owe a lot to Gareth Ainsworth. He’s taught me so much and he’s kept me as his goalkeeper ever since I broke into the first team, so I have to say a massive thank you to him.To play 100 games is a great achievement.”
