Cheltenham 1 Caribbean 0
IFYOU had the chance to go to the Caribbean to play World Cup qualifiers or face a League Two relegation battle, the former would be pretty tempting.
But not for Craig Braham-Barrett. The 26-year-old has turned down the chance to play for Montserrat in their matches against Curacao at the end of the month.
Instead, the left-back, who qualifies through his late grandmother, wants to help Cheltenham jump clear of the League Two trapdoor in the final furlongs of the season. He said: “I’d love to go to the Caribbean and play international football, but the situation we are in means it is not an ideal situation.
“It would be selfish to go and the coach (Lenny Hewlett) told me the door will still be open for me in the future.”
