GRECIANS GREAT FOR HOLMES
LEE Holmes admits he would jump at the chance of signing for Exeter City on a permanent basis.
The 27-year-old Preston winger joined the Grecians on loan until the end of the season earlier in the week and insists he is already thinking long-term after making his debut in Tuesday’s 0-0 draw with Stevenage.
“It’s certainly something I’d consider,” Holmes said. “For my next contract, I want to be somewhere where I can flourish.
“If I can do that here then great, we’ll see how things go and how things progress.
“It was basically the manager Paul Tisdale that convinced me to move down. I liked what he was saying, I liked his philosophy on football and how he wants to play the game.”
