The 26-year-old has been loaned from Udi­nese to Span­ish side Granada… for the last six years!

The French-born Cameroon right­back has played al­most 200 times for Granada and en­joyed two pro­mo­tions in their rise to La Liga.

Udi­nese, Granada and Wat­ford are all owned by the Pozzo fam­ily, mak­ing moves be­tween the clubs more com­mon. Nyom has only been to his Ital­ian club once since sign­ing in 2009 – for his med­i­cal!

“I can un­der­stand peo­ple think­ing it strange, but they’re only con­tracts,” he told Four­FourTwo. “I con­sider my­self a Granada player.” Per­haps he’ll fancy a move to Wat­ford if they reach the Pre­mier League.
