thought Gallagher’s case was strange, then spare a thought for Allan Nyom.
The 26-year-old has been loaned from Udinese to Spanish side Granada… for the last six years!
The French-born Cameroon rightback has played almost 200 times for Granada and enjoyed two promotions in their rise to La Liga.
Udinese, Granada and Watford are all owned by the Pozzo family, making moves between the clubs more common. Nyom has only been to his Italian club once since signing in 2009 – for his medical!
“I can understand people thinking it strange, but they’re only contracts,” he told FourFourTwo. “I consider myself a Granada player.” Perhaps he’ll fancy a move to Watford if they reach the Premier League.
