Born: Hert­ford, 1978 (Age 37) 1996-2004 Bent­ley, a mid­fielder, be­gan his ca­reer be­fore at Ry­man League Ave­ley he made the switch to En­field. He Alder­shot, then moved on to Gravesend & North­fleet, where he and Da­gen­ham won Player of the Year, & Red­bridge be­fore Southend came knock­ing. 2004-2006 Bent­ley en­joyed two suc­cess­ful years with the Shrimpers as he helped them to con­sec­u­tive pro­mo­tions through in his two sea­sons. The first the League Two play-offs be­fore One. the Shrimpers won League 2006-2011 Af­ter 93 ap­pear­ances for Southend, Although Bent­ley moved to Gilling­ham. he didn’t play in the 2009 League against Shrews­bury, Two play-off fi­nal win Bent­ley played a big part in get­ting The club were rel­e­gated the Gills up. the next sea­son and, in Bent­ley’s sea-son, missed out on an in­stant fi­nal re­turn. 2011-2014 Dropped back into Non-League with Hayes & Yead­ing, where he spent two sea­sons, Boreham Wood joined and Weald­stone be­fore he Grays Ath­letic last sum­mer. 2015-present Took over as Grays Ath­letic player- re­ceive manager and helped the club world­wide at­ten­tion when he saved against Hamp­ton a penalty in a 3-2 win & Rich­mond Bor­ough ear­lier this month.
