ENG­LAND boss Roy Hodg­son is go­ing to be de­lighted to hear that Ac­cring­ton Stan­ley fans are rais­ing money for new chang­ing rooms!

Back in 2010, then-Ful­ham boss Hodg­son had one look at the dress­ing rooms and took his team back to change at the nearby Dunken­halgh Ho­tel where they were stay­ing.

But now the Ac­cring­ton Stan­ley Of­fi­cial Sup­port­ers’ Club is sell­ing £5 raf­fle tick­ets to be drawn at a Satur­day home game in Oc­to­ber 2015 in a bid to stump up the £25,000 needed to re-build and re­fur­bish the chang­ing block at the Store First Sta­dium.

Mean­while, Stan­ley boss and for­mer teacher John Cole­man, skip­per Luke Joyce and de­fender Nicky Hunt an­swered ques­tions from pupils at a press con­fer­ence with a dif­fer­ence at the lo­cal Hun­coat Pri­mary School.

Eight of the pupils, in­clud­ing three from the club’s academy, will rep­re­sent Ac­cring­ton Stan­ley at Wem­b­ley be­fore the play­off fi­nal in May.

Cole­man said: “It’s su­perb that Hun­coat Pri­mary School are the first Ac­cring­ton team to go to Wem­b­ley – hope­fully we can fol­low in their foot--
