TAYLOR’S RAVING ABOUT ROVERS
IPSWICH outcast Paul Taylor has fired a thinlyveiled attack at Town by branding Blackburn a bigger club.
Taylor, 27, has found chances in Suffolk hard to come by since signing for £1.5m in 2012.
And with his contract due to expire in the summer, the striker is keen to make his mark with Rovers having been told he won’t play for Ipswich again.
“I just want to get started playing football,” said Taylor, who has also been on loan at Rotherham. “I haven’t played a competitive game for two months now, so now I’ve got the opportunity to play football and express myself.
“I’ve been doing a lot of training and a lot of running, but it isn’t anything like match fitness.
“This is the biggest club I’ve been to with the history and everything about it.
“The facilities, the training ground facilities, everything is just brilliant. It is the club that I want to be with.”
