March 30, 1946: A Di­vi­sion Three North Cup re­play be­tween Stock­port County and Don­caster Rovers lasts 203 min­utes and then has to be aban­doned through bad light with the score at 2-2. No one could net the golden goal win­ner. March 31, 1928: Hud­der­s­field Town pro­vide five play­ers for the Eng­land v Scot­land in­ter­na­tional at Wem­b­ley yet still man­age to beat Bury 3-2 at Gigg Lane in the league. April 1, 1995:The two lines­men for the Cam­bridge United v Ply­mouth Ar­gyle league game are named ‘French & Saun­ders’! April 2, 1934:Wilf Milne makes 501 ap­pear­ances for Swansea Town be­fore scor­ing his first goal for them v Lin­coln City. April 3, 1972: Burn­ley go into a 3-1 lead v Sun­der­land at Roker Park but lose the match 4-3. Ex­actly the same thing hap­pened in Novem­ber 1966 be­tween the two sides.
