CHICK IS COMING OF AGE AT COD
ADAM CHICKSEN has been at Fleetwood for little over a month but he is already part of the furniture, according to manager Graham Alexander.
Chicksen joined the Cod Army on an initial one-month loan deal from Brighton at the end of February, but has now extended that stay until the end of the season.
The defender has already established himself as a key member of Fleetwood’s rearguard – and Alexander believes securing the 23year-old’s signature until the end of the campaign will prove to be a real bonus for his side.
“He was very keen to stay and he is a very good player who has done well for us,” said Alexander.
“We are delighted with how he has come in and settled into the group. But first and foremost, Adam is a very good player.
“We are pleased Brighton have allowed us to keep him until the end of the season so we thank them for that.
“We are looking forward to the remaining games with Adam in the squad.”
