PREMIER LEAGUE REVIEW
BURNLEY ..............0 ARSENAL ..............1
AARON Ramsey’s first-half strike proved to be enough as Arsenal closed the gap on league leaders Chelsea to four points with victory at Turf Moor.
The midfielder rifled into the roof of the net after only 12 minutes and while the Clarets fought hard, Arsenal’s victory rarely looked in any real danger.
Chelsea have two games in hand and head to QPR tomorrow. YANNICK Bolasie struck an 11-minute hat-trick as Crystal Palace stunned Sunderland.
Glenn Murray put the Eagles ahead when he nodded in from close range from Bolasie's cross.
Bolasie added a second moments later as he poked the ball past Costel Pantilimon after Murray's knockdown.
SWANSEA ..............1 EVERTON ..............1
JONJO Shelvey struck a second-half penalty as Swansea moved level with their best ever Premier League points haul.
Aaron Lennon had fired Everton ahead just before half-time with his second goal since joining on loan from Tottenham in January.
But Shelvey and Swansea profited after Everton defender Seamus Coleman was penalised for handball inside the box. CHRISTIAN Benteke continued his fine form with the Belgian scoring the only goal as Aston Villa beat Tottenham.
Benteke headed in Leandro Bacuna’s cross as Villa boss Tim Sherwood got the better of his former club.
Villa almost had a second when Gabby Agbonlahor hit the post.
WEST BROM ..........2 LEICESTER ............3
JAMIE Vardy’s late goal handed bottom club Leicester a dramatic victory at West Brom.
The Foxes conceded first as Darren Fletcher escaped his man to head in.
David Nugent poked home to level, but the visitors fell behind again as Craig Gardner scored.
But Leicester won it as Robert Huth nodded in and Vardy scored a 91st-minute winner.
SOUTHAMPTON ....2 HULL ....................0
GRAZIANO Pelle ended his Southampton goal drought in the victory over Hull.
Substitute James Ward-Prowse opened the scoring for the Saints from the penalty spot after former Hull striker Shane Long had been fouled by Alex Bruce.
James Chester almost equalised but his header was cleared off the line.
Italy international Pelle then drove home his first goal in 15 matches.
SUNDERLAND ........1 CRYSTAL PALACE ..4
A lofted finish from Bolasie made it 3-0 and he completed his treble from Murray's pass before Connor Wickham volleyed in a late consolation.
TOTTENHAM ........0 ASTON VILLA ........1
But the visitors had to see the game out with ten men after Carlos Sanchez was sent off for a second booking late on.
WEST HAM ............1 STOKE ..................1
MARKO Arnautovic made it third time lucky as Stoke stole a point at West Ham.
The Austrian twice had a goal disallowed for offside before his injury-time goal.
Aaron Cresswell’s brilliant early free-kick had put West Ham ahead.
Mame Biram Diouf was unlucky to see a header come off the inside of the post, but after the hosts looked to have clung on, Arnautovic struck late.
