The Football League Paper - - LEAGUE TWO -

ACCRINGTON Stanley this week secured their Football League status with three games to spare, but manager John Coleman was keen to deflect the credit elsewhere.

Stanley were bottom of League Two at the end of August, prompting a change at the helm with Coleman replacing James Beattie.

“I am delighted we have stayed up, it is testament to the players as they have done it again against all odds,” said Coleman, who took Stanley into the League nine years ago in his first spell at the Crown Ground.
