MARV: O’S WON’T LEY DOWN NOW

The Football League Paper - - LEAGUE TWO RESULTS - By Jamie Holt

MARVIN Bartley says Leyton Orient do not fear anyone as they enter the final stages of their battle to stay in League One.

Orient face a tough run-in, facing Rochdale on Tuesday before promotion-chasing Sheffield United and Swindon.

They suffered a setback in their quest for survival with a midweek home defeat to Doncaster and though Bartley admits the tension is rising at Brisbane Road, he believes his team-mates can handle it.

“We do feel the pressure, because we are under pressure,” he said. “We can’t fear anybody. If you start fearing people then there’s no point going out there.

“At home the fans get behind us; playing away the fans get behind us. I’ll always believe.

“It’s fair enough that the fans are disappointed, but we are going to work even harder in training and put everything into the games to avoid relegation.

“We’ve played against everyone, we’re not scared of any team, despite them pushing for promotion.”
