CLINTON HAS A POP AT ARGYLE

The Football League Paper - - NEWS -

STRIKER Clinton Morrison claims Exeter City are the best League Two side in the south-west as he tries to win a contract at St James Park.

The 36-year-old made 25 appearances for Exeter last season, but his contract was not renewed at the end of a campaign which saw Paul Tisdale’s side finish tenth, seven points below local rivals Plymouth Argyle.

“I would place City above Plymouth, 100 per cent,” said Morrison.“I would say that though; Plymouth fans don’t like me and I don’t like them.

“If Exeter play like they can do, defend well and create chances and score goals, like they did last season, I think they will do well.”
