ABU SAYS GOALS ARE A-GOGO

The Football League Paper - - CHAMPIONSHIP -

VARIETY is the spice of life and Shrewsbury’s Abu Ogogo is relishing the chance to take on new roles at the Greenhous.

Ogogo made his name at Dagenham & Redbridge as a defensive midfielder or right-back, but played in a number ten role as the Shrews beat Blackburn.

“The gaffer’s said that if we play in a two in midfield then he wants me to get the ball off the back four and control the game,” explained Ogogo.

“If we play a three he said I can hit the box, or if I play the edge of the diamond, like we did against Blackburn, I like to get up into the box and try to score some goals.”
